This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used onnxtgenresearch.co.uk, why they are used, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Notice.

1. Strictly necessary (always on)

These are required for the site to function and are set without consent, as permitted by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

Age / researcher gate (nxt-age-accepted-v1, browser storage) — records that you have confirmed you are 18+ and acting in a research capacity, so the gate is not shown on every page.
Basket (sable_cart, browser storage) — keeps the items in your basket between pages and visits.
Authentication (Supabase session tokens, browser storage) — keeps you signed in to your account and order history.
Consent record (cookie_consent, browser storage) — remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics.

2. Analytics (consent required)

With your consent we load Google Analytics 4, which sets _ga and _ga_* cookies to measure page views, traffic sources and aggregate site usage. Nothing analytics related is loaded unless you press "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you press "Reject", no analytics scripts or cookies are loaded at all.

3. Payments

Checkout is processed by Stripe. When you reach the payment step, Stripe may set its own strictly necessary cookies for fraud prevention and to complete the transaction. See Stripe's own cookie and privacy notices for detail.

4. Third-party marketing cookies

We do not run advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking pixels on this site.

5. Managing and withdrawing consent

You can change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time using the button below — this clears your stored choice and re-opens the cookie banner. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary storage may break the basket, the age gate and sign-in.
